I saw GWTW in the LinkWithin widget and HAD to click on the post! I chuckled when I saw that, like myself, you used to idolize Scarlett, only to change your tune as you matured. I read GWTW for the first time when I was a 6th grader. I used to collect memorabilia as well, and every year Scarlett in her green and white party dress hangs on our Christmas tree! lol

I love your warning about the Left Behind series! Sadly, I know how true it is and how important it has to have a freezer stocked with pizzas and closets full of clean clothes for the week before cracking one open… and maybe some paper plates…

Bridget Jones never gets old to me. Oh, how I laugh. And laugh.

CS Lewis’ Til We Have Faces is my all time favorite book. I’ve said (often) that reading that book was like tasting chocolate for the first time. Nothing could be better.

Francine Rivers books… I LOVE Redeeming Love and the Mark of the Lion Series and the women in the lineage of Christ series.
Angela, if you haven’t read Redeeming Love yet you need to get it on the “must read” book list. I know you will LOVE it (It’s based on the book of Hosea) – but buy some kleenex for your reading time.

I’ve read a few of the ones you listed. In terms of Christian fiction, my all time faves are the 3 books from the Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers. A voic in the Wind, An Echo in the Darkness and As Sure as the Dawn… I think I’ve read the series 5 times… and I KNOW I’ll read them again!
