I do agree with all the concepts you have introduced on your post. They're very convincing and can definitely work. Still, the posts are too brief for starters. May you please lengthen them a little from subsequent time? Thank you for the post.

I just came across your blog. I was so blessed by this post and even by the comments of the other ladies about this post. I was feeling discouraged/guilty because I can't seem to do it (i.e. be an good wife, mother, home-educator and homemaker PLUS an amazing crafter, blogger, and business builder, PLUS a thoughtful daughter, sister, friend, church member, PLUS etc, etc... all at the same time) And it seemed to me like "everyone" else, in the blog world anyway, is able to "do it all". There is so much pressure for moms these days to capture the moments, share them, blog about them, and teach others how to do xyz, etc. Much of that is good to an extent, but, you are right, then we can actually end up missing out on the pleasure of those moments. I was so encouraged to see this post and know that there are other moms out there who choose "to put the blog down" (to whatever extent is necessary) so that we can enjoy the time with our children, and put our husbands and families first. We can build the blog/business later. But we will never get those moments, those precious early relationship-building moments back again. Thanks for the encouragement!!!

Thank you, I have recently been looking for info about this subject for a while and yours is the greatest I have discovered so far. However, what in regards to the bottom line? Are you sure about the source?|What i don't realize is in fact how you are not actually much more neatly-liked than you may be right now. You are very intelligent.

I recently had a similar stirring. I shut down my facebook page and have been focusing more on spending time with my family instead of my computer. Although we are planning on embarking on homeschooling our daughter again (we did through the first part of kindergarten and put her in public school but plan on taking her out next year) and another baby. Your post brought me to tears of joy knowing that we are doing the right thing by putting our families first. I was thinking about making a blog for all the things we do in homeschool but after seeing this I think I just want to enjoy the moments and maybe document later. After all like you said we have maybe 10 more years and at the end of it will we feel the "well done good and faithful servant" with the gifts/family that he has given us? Will our children look back with fond memories of fun moments we had with them or will the remember us "capturing the moments" to turn around and sit on the computer to share them with others instead of savoring them with them? Somethings I have been thinking about. It is soooo helpful to hear that others feel the same way. Thanks for sharing!

[...] Resurrection Rolls I’ve seen these before, heard of them but never made Resurrection Rolls. This year I’m really excited to try this. Alice is old enough now to understand the whats and whys of this project. It’s the PERFECT time and I found a great post at Homegrown Mom for them. It’s nicely detailed which is great for someone like me, who is making them for the first time. I know, it seems simple enough right? Especially for those of you that have made these. But trust me, I can screw up boiling water!! So, I greatly appreciate detail and explanation!! She even gives her input and ideas in how she presents and works out the lessons involved.
