I am in.
I wrote out my 15 things I love about my Babe–and gave them to him.
After reading it, he said something I have never heard him say in the 32 years we have been together:
‘That blesses me. Thank you.’
Kind of blew my mind.

Allison Hathaway (Ali) says
Hi. I just really wanted to tell you about the positive outcome from Day 1 of the challenge. I will spare you the details, but my husband and I have been struggling for quite some time now. There is a level of resentment that we could not find a way through. I told him a few days back about the challenge, and to expect some acts of love that may come off as out of place. Yesterday morning I sent him off to school with a cup of coffee, and my list of 15 things I am thankful for, regarding him. It happened to be his oy night off for the week. That evening I was surprised to have time with him, as he has a final this week and expressed a need to study all night, as well as the fact that we haven’t particularly wanted to spend his off nights together as of recently. He had for me; flowers, chocolates, and a love letter. He said that my note triggered a need in him to express his love for me.

Ali, that literally made me cry happy tears. I am praying daily for those of us doing the challenge and I’ll be sure to pray for you!

Allison’s story gripped my heart.
How lovely to see the fruit of your efforts–so quickly.
You did it all with no thought of reciprocity–and look what you got!
Kudos.
