I write this blog to give ideas and inspiration to moms. At this time, I’m not doing sponsored posts, but I am an affiliate for a few companies. In the monthly post, Shop With Me, I will recommend products I’ve picked out that moms might like, using affiliate links. Anytime I link to a product, or give one away I will disclose in that post whether or not it is an affiliate link, and whether or not it was given to me to give away for free. I might also place ads in my monthly newsletter.
I only recommend products that I have personally used or would if I could afford them. This isn’t a money-making blog. I would love for it to one day pay for itself, but so far it hasn’t even done that. So don’t worry that I’m out to trick you into buying lots of junk so I can roll around on my bed in dollar bills. (Though I might do the the bed part if I had enough dollar bills to roll around in.)
Should I start to make mega-bucks off my few little ads, then I’ll fund my own giveaways and share with you all. Until then, I won’t review products that were sent to me for free. I might give something away to you all, but I will not personally accept any products for sponsored reviews. Mostly because right now I want to focus on writing and learning all this web-techy stuff. I certainly don’t have a problem with blogs that do sponsored reviews and giveaway and if I have more time someday, I might jump into that too. For now, I’ll just keep entering other people’s.
